Neely Quint earned three wins out of the four games pitched for CU this past week to open Mid-South Conference play.
In the series opener 4-2 win over UPIKE, Quint tossed eight innings and allowed two runs on six hits, while matching her season-high six strikeouts.
In game two of the series, Quint entered in relief and did not allow a baserunner in the loan inning she tossed. On Friday, Quint tossed 10 more innings. In game three, she allowed three earned runs and struck out one. In game four, she tossed the final three innings and did not allow an earned run.
Quint ranked No. 1 in the MSC and No. 3 in the NAIA with a perfect 15-0 record. In addition, she ranks sixth nationally with 0.38 walks per nine innings.
