BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Earning their fourth-straight in to start 2021, the Campbellsville University women's volleyball team has a pair of individuals earning Mid-South Conference weekly honors for the second week in a row as
Sutton Mason and
Katie Morin receive the MSC recognition.
Mason was named the conference Attacker of the Week and Morin was the Defender of the Week as they each led the Lady Tigers in their respective specialized statistics at Asbury last Saturday afternoon.
Mason, a redshirt sophomore from Nashville, Tenn., finished the match with a team-high nine kills and a hitting percentage of .529. For Mason, it's her first weekly honor of the season and the second of her career after she earned the honor last season.
Morin, a sophomore from Secor, Ill., earns the Defender of the Week honor for the second straight week after leading CU with 13 digs against the Eagles. She also added an ace and recorded no serve reception errors in a limited number of attempts.
The Lady Tigers will remain on the road for their next three matches but won't get back to action until next Monday when they face Georgetown College on Feb. 15.
