COLUMBIA, Ky. – Lady Tigers' senior bowler
Katlyn Hoeh was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Bowler of the Week, conference officials announced Tuesday.
Hoeh earned the award after her first place finish at the Mid-South Conference's Cincinnati Collegiate Classic last weekend. The honor is the first for anyone on the CU women's bowling team this year and the first in Hoeh's career at Campbellsville.
At the Cincinnati Collegiate Classic, Hoeh won by over 100 pins with her final count at 1,970 and an average of 218.9 pins per game. In her nine games, her highest scores came in her first (244), fifth (249) and last (276) game as she bowled for a score over 200 in six of the nine games.
She also helped the Lady Tigers earn a third place finish in the team competition that hosted 21 different teams. CU totaled 8,575 total pins, which was just 29 pins more than fourth place St. Francis.
Hoeh and the Lady Tigers will bowl next at the 50th Annual Hoosier Classic on Feb. 16-17. That will be take place in Indianapolis, Ind. and will be their last regular season competition of the 2018-19 season.
