CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — A spectacular regular season ended for Campbellsville's
Savannah Gregorythis past week as she was named the Mid-South Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Gregory, a sophomore from Scottsville, Ky., earned her fourth weekly honor of the year fifth in her career.
She averaged 13.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.5 steals per game in two Campbellsville victories last week.
She scored 16 points on 5-of-9 shooting and made five shots from the charity stripe while recording nine rebounds and seven steals in an 84-63 win over No. 12 Shawnee State.
Gregory reached double figures for the seventh-consecutive game scoring 11 points shooting 4-of-8 and connecting on all three of her free throw attempts in an 82-63 victory against Pikeville.
She also had six rebounds and four steals in the victory.
Gregory finished the week shooting 52.9 percent from the field, 88.9 percent from the charity stripe with one 3-pointer made and two assists.
She leads the MSC in steals with 126 and steals per game with 4.2
The third-ranked Lady Tigers finished the regular season 28-2 and are the No. 1 seed in the MSC Women's Basketball Tournament.
Campbellsville plays University of the Cumberlands on Friday morning at 10 a.m. ET in the Tournament, which is being hosted at the Eastern Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville, Ky.
