CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — For the first time in her young career, freshman
Hannah Judd was named the Mid-South Conference Softball Player of the Week.
Judd, a freshman from Greenburg, Ky., led the Lady Tigers to a 4-0 week and extended CU's record to 14-3 on the year and a perfect 2-0 start in Mid-South Conference play.
She hit .538 last week (7-for-13), scored six runs, hit three home runs and finished with four RBI. The three homers were the first of her career and the three RBI vs. Cumberland University in a 15-6 win on Saturday was also a game-high for the freshman.
Overall on the week, Judd slugged 1.231 at the plate with her three extra base hits (home runs).
The Lady Tigers swept the week against Brescia and Cumberland University – both doubleheaders.
Campbellsville is now scheduled to host the Phoenix for another doubleheader on Saturday afternoon, March 23.
