KISSIMMEE, Fla. – More than 150 student-athletes attended the NCCAA Division I Volleyball Banquet at the Radisson Resort Orlando/Celebration.
 
Campbellsville University's Annija Abolina was named an NCCAA Scholar-Athlete at tonight's event.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.4 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved at least junior academic status.
 
Katy Headrick of McMurray University earned this year's Susan R Hellings Award. The purpose of this award is to recognize an NCCAA student-athlete who exemplifies Christian leadership on the court, strives for team unity, and excels in the classroom.
 
The NCCAA championship for Campbellsville will begin Thursday, Dec. 1 with a matchup against Cincinnati Christian College at 2 p.m.
