CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Tori Humphrey was one of five Lady Tiger softball veterans that saw their senior year cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic but with the NAIA's decision to give eligibility back to spring-sport athletes, Humphrey plans to return for Campbellsville in 2020-21. 
 
The senior third baseman has already written her name in the Lady Tiger softball record books. 
 
In the 19 games she played as a senior, Humphrey was on her way once again to another solid year. She was hitting .418 with 14 RBI and a home run with only four strikeouts. She slugged .636 overall and had a career-high on-base-percentage of .543 until the season was cut short.
 
2019 (Junior Season):
  • Humphrey played in all 50 games and started 49 times. 
  • She batted .312, had 10 doubles, and 11 home runs (which was tied for the most on the team). 
  • Humphrey drove in 42 runs and also moved around to score 27 herself. 
  • First Team All-MSC Honors.
2018 (Sophomore Season):
  • Humphrey was named NCCAA All-American and NFCA All-American in 2018. 
  • She went on to earn MSC First Team All-Conference honors.
  • After starting in 47 games, Humphrey's season ended in the last weekend of the regular season after going down with an ACL injury vs. Lindsey Wilson.
  • Humphrey was second on the team by hitting .386 and tied for second with 10 home runs. Her 46 RBI were second on the team.
  • Defensively, Humphrey had a great season at third base. She tallied 138 assists - which ranked No. 6 in the country. Also, her 2.9 assists per game were eighth. 
  • She finished with 10 multi-RBI games, had a hit-streak reach eight games and on-base streak of 24. She led CU by averaging 1.3 hits per game and second on the team by scoring 0.91 runs per game.
  • She was named MSC Player of the Week on April 23.
2017 (Freshman Season):
  • Humphrey was named the Mid-South Conference Freshman of the Year during her first year with the Lady Tigers.
  • She finished the season with a team-best .450 batting average and a .509 on-base percentage.
  • As a freshman, she hit eight home runs and finished second on the team with 67 hits and 43 RBIs.
  • Humphrey also compiled 110 total bases and a slugging percentage of .738.
