After leading the Lady Tigers to a perfect 6-0 week, shortstop Jacqueline Roof was named the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week, officials announced on Monday.
 
Roof, a junior from Paducah, Ky., earns the second weekly honor of the season and fourth of her career.
 
During the week, Roof hit .450 at the plate and had an even .700 slugging percentage to lead CU. She also finished the week scoring eight runs to go along with four RBI and three extra base hits.
 
The highlight of her week was going 3-for-4 against UPIKE, while hitting her lone home run of the week and driving in a pair in CU's 11-6 victory.
 
Campbellsville now boasts a 23-7 record on the year and is a perfect 10-0 in Mid-South. The Lady Tigers bring in a 13-game win streak, as they head to Union College on Tuesday, April 29. First pitch of the doubleheader is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET in Barbourville.
