CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Josh Provost was selected as the Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Week for the first time in his career, the conference office announced on Monday.
 
In the Tigers 178-44 loss to NCAA Division III Centre College, Provost finished in the top three in three of his four events.
 
The native of West Haven, Utah highlighted his first collegiate meet with a second-place finish in the 50-meter short course freestyle after finishing in 26.59.
 
Provost then finished third in the 100-meter butterfly with a time of 1:07.80 to complete his individual events for the competition.
 
In the 200-meter freestyle relay he helped Campbellsville finish third with a time of 1:49.08, while also helping the Tigers to a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter medley relay with a time of 2:36.17.
 
This is the first time in his career Provost has been selected as the MSC Swimmer of the Week.
 
Campbellsville is back in action this week at the Lindsey Wilson College Fall Frenzy on Friday and Saturday.
