CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Bret Crawford was named the Mid-South Conference Runner of the Week for the third time this season, the conference office announced on Monday afternoon.
 
The junior recorded his fifth-straight top-10 finish this year at the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge after placing seventh out of 285 runners.
 
Crawford finished the race in 25 minutes and 38 seconds – which was one second off his career best of 25:37 he set at the Greater Louisville Classic.
 
On the season, Crawford has finished second twice, to go along with fifth-; seventh- and eighth-place finishes in five races this year.
 
As a team, Campbellsville finished 12th out of 24 teams in a field that consisted of five top-25 teams and three mentioned in the receiving votes section of the national poll.
 
Campbellsville is back in action on Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Mid-South Conference Championship at Phil Moore Park in Bowling Green, Ky.
