For the first time in his career, freshman
Isaac Lewis earns Mid-South Conference Swimmer of the Week honors, officials announced on Monday.
Lewis, a freshman from Elizabethtown, Ky., won three individual events and was on two winning relay teams as the Tigers won a dual over Bethel University, 150-51.
Lewis won the 100-meter butterfly, 100-meter backstroke, and the 200-meter individual medley, while setting a new program record in the 200 IM with a time of 2:32.67.
In addition to the individual events, Lewis was also a part of the 400-meter medley and 400-meter freestyle relay teams to finish first.
Capping off the meet, he finished second in the 100-meter breaststroke and ninth in the 100-meter freestyle.
Campbellsville returns to the pool on Saturday, Oct. 8 at Emmanuel College.
