MOBILE, Ala. – Crystal Land finished as the top individual at the Spring Hill College Fall Classic this past week to lead the Campbellsville women's bowling team to a second-place team finish.
Land recorded a total pin fall of 1,331, which was the most in both the women's and men's field by 18 pins on Friday. Over her six individual games, she averaged 221.8 pins per game.
Following the first day – which included six team games – the Lady Tigers were in first place by 60 total pins.
During the second day of competition, Campbellsville slipped a spot in Baker action and compiled a grand total of 8,158.
Webber International University erased its 60-pin deficit on day two and won the team title at Spring Hill's Fall Classic. The Warriors ended the tournament with a grand total of 8,259 pins.
In the seven-team field, Florida State University rounded out the top three and posted a team score of 8,032.
Campbellsville has concluded its schedule in 2017 and returns to action on Jan. 13 at the Peach State Classic in Athens, Georgia.
