Campbellsville, KY - The Racers of Northwestern Ohio University kept Campbellsville's lead to single digits for a big part of the first half, but could not overcome a ten point halftime deficit as the sixth rank Tigers rolled to an 86-63 win tonight.
Campbellsville built the lead to 20 points on two occasions in the second half, before winning by the 23 point margin. The Tigers shot 47% for the game and hit on 20 of 25 free throws in winning their 11th straight game to improve to 14-2 on the year.
Marcus Nicks (JR/Ellicott City, MD) led the Tigers with 18 points. Bubba Long (SR/Owensboro,KY) added 14 points while Nestor Colmenares (JR/Caracas, Venezuela) and Shawn Savage (FR/Bowling Green, KY) both scored 13 points in the win.
Campbellsville travels to Berry College (GA) on Monday for a 6:00 p.m. tip-off.
