Campbellsville could not overcome a hot shooting first half by third ranked Union University and lost 86-65 tonight in Henderson, Tennessee at Freed-Hardeman University.

Union shot 82.1% from the floor in the first half, connecting on 23 of 28 shots and built a 55-34 lead at halftime.  Campbellsville didn't score until the 15:16 mark in the first half after Union went up 13-0.

The Tigers threatened late in the second half but could edge no closer than fourteen points as Union ended up shooting 62.7% for the game while Campbellsville could just manage 37.5% shooting as a team.

Campbellsville was led by
Aaron Wyatt's 16 points while
Zach Allender added 13 in the loss. Allender became Campbellsville's fourth all-time leading scorer in the game, surpassing James Boulware on the list.   Allender now has 1,727 career points.
