For the game in a row, the Campbellsville Tigers Basketball team found themselves in a big hole. Despite the large defecit, they once again made the game extremely close, but fell late in the game. This time, it was against non-conference opponent Brescia College who came into the game with a 15-7 record. At halftime, the Tigers were down by 19 points and Brecsia had been dominating the game on all levels. The score was 44-25.

Once again, the Tigers showed resiliance as they rallied back and got within two at one point. Even though they out played Brescia in the second half, it wasn't quite enough as Brescia escaped Campbellsville with an 80-74 victory. In the second half alone, Campbellsville outscored Brescia 49-36.

On the day, the Tigers spread the wealth in scoring as five players were in double digits.Â
Zach Allender led the way with 16 points. Campbellsville will resume conference play on Thursday night (Jan. 29th) at home in the Powell Athletic Center. Tip off is scheduled for 8:00 P.M.
