Lady Tigers 10th in Cedarville 5K

Campbellsville University finished 10th of 16 teams Saturday in the 19th annual Cedarville University Friendship Invitational in Cedarville, Ohio.

Tawny Vilchis led the Lady Tigers with a 33rd finish after running a 20:07 in the 5k race. Natasha Janes followed in 72nd place with a time of 20:57. Daisy Perez was third among the Tigers with a 20:59 in 75th place. Amy Etherington was 96th at the time of 21:52. Starsha Fant finished 103rd with the time of 22:29. Summer Rines placed 120th in at 22:29. Meagan Picket placed 144th scoring in a time of 24:04. Kasey Vitkus placed 153 with the time of 24:36.

Campbellsville will take the week off and compete Oct. 3 in the Greater Louisville Invitational in Louisville, Ky.
