"I think both the men's and women's teams performed nicely, and we are really starting to bring everything together. We have three more races over the next seven weeks until the conference meet," CU head coach Hilary Cebulko said. "For the guys, we really need to work on closing the gap between the third and fourth runners and the fourth and fifth runners,. For the girls, we need to work on closing the gap between the fourth and fifth runner. I think we really brought things together this week and both teams have shown improvement just over the course of a couple weeks. It's still the beginning, so we still have some work to do, but it has given us a great start and definitely somewhere to work from here on out.
Campbellsville will take the next week off before competing in the Louisville Classic on Saturday, Oct. 2.
