CAMPBELSVILLE, Ky. — CU Water Tigers lost both ends of a men's and women's swim meet Saturday at the Powell Athletic Center Pool to the University of the Cumberlands' No. 1 rated women and No. 4 rated men.

April Hill and Kyle Perkins won individual women's events, Hill taking the 100-meter Breatstroke and Perkins the 400-Meter Freestyle.

"It was great having Cumberlands here," said Coach Casey Smith. "They are a great team and I have always enjoyed competing with them.

"They have great sportsmanship and always bring a great attitude. It was a good meet and always nice to be back home in our own facility. Everyone worked hard and has earned a Christmas break."

The men, with only Marquise Crosby swimming, lost 119-11. The Cumberlands' women prevailed 119-59.
