Box Score ATCHISON, Kan. — If it wasn't one thing, it was another for Campbellsville Tiger Basketball on Saturday night. CU traveled to No. 4 Benedictine College (6-1, 0-0 HAAC) for the second meeting between the two this season and struggled to get anything going, falling to the Ravens 63-54.

Campbellsville (6-1, 1-0 MSC) entered Saturday's matchup scoring 82 points a game and shooting an impressive 41 percent compared to its opponents' 32 percent. But the Tigers couldn't find the hoop and jacked up 31 3-pointers — only making eight (25 percent). Benedictine shut down two offensive juggernots for Campbellsville, holding leading scorers D'Von Campbell and Damontre Harris to four and two points, respectively.

Quin Richardson led Campbellsville with 15 points, as he was the lone Tiger in double figures. Benedictine finished with two players in double-digits. John Harris, Jr., who missed the Raven's trip to Campbellsville in the season opener, scored 15 points to match Richardson with the game-high and Christian Hatterle finished with 11.

Campbellsville struggled from the floor overall, shooting 29 percent (16-for-55). The Tigers were also outrebounded by the Ravens, 42-32.

CU fell behind early, going 13-3 and was never able to recover. Miles Rice scored the first bucket for Campbellsville, hitting his first of two 3-pointers at the 16:04 mark in the first half. The Ravens took command early and didn't faulter down the stretch. Benedictine kept its eight- to nine-point lead for most of the first half and never trailed the entire 40 minutes of play.

Frank Agholor whittled the Raven lead to six points, 28-22, with his only bucket of the evening with 2:33 left in the first half. That was as close as Campbellsville got until the 12:27 mark in regulation.

The Tigers went on a 12-5 run capped by a Rob Robinson triple from the right wing. The 3-pointer by Robinson was one of his three on the night and worked the lead down to three points, 39-36 - Campbellsville's closest margin. VeQuan Clark matched Robinson's 3 on the other end and the Ravens went on a 9-0 run with 5:23 remaining to force a CU a timeout donw 48-36.

Campbellsville reduced the lead to seven with just above one minute to play but Benedictine capitalized down the stretch after getting in the bonus with 12 minutes remaining. The Ravens shot a blistering 88 percent (29-for-33) from the free throw line and made nine-straight to sink the Tigers' hopes of making a comeback.

With the loss, Campbellsville and Benedictine split the regular season series, as CU defeated the Ravens on the 2014-15 opener, 71-61 on Oct. 31.

The Tigers will return to Mid-South Conference play on Thursday, Nov. 20, as No. 25 University of the Cumberlands (7-0, 2-0 MSC) ventures into Powell Athletic Center after defeating MSC foes No. 8 Georgetown College and Shawnee State this past week. Tipoff between the Tigers and Patriots will follow the women's basketball game and is scheduled for 8 p.m. ET.
