Box Score SPRINGFIELD, KY – The Campbellsville University Tigers men and women's tennis teams both took care of business Friday, defeating the host St. Catharine Patriots 7-2 and 6-0, respectively.
The 24th ranked Tigers improved to 5-2 on the season with the win. They only lost one match in both singles and doubles play.
Alejandro Soriano, Johan Fuzellier, and Sebastian Marot all featured a 6-0 set win in their singles matches.
The 23rd ranked women made quick work of the Patriots. Not a single Lady Tiger lost a set in any of their doubles or singles matches. With the win, the Lady Tigers improved their record to 4-2.
The men's squad will be in action again Monday, March 17, 2014 at 2 p.m. against visiting University of the Cumberlands.
The women's squad will resume action Saturday, March 15, 2014 at 2 p.m. against Mid-South Conference foe Shawnee State at the Kelly Hall Tennis Complex on the campus of Campbellsville University.
