LIMA, Ohio – The Campbellsville University tennis teams were once again swept in a men's and women's matchup, this time against the Racers of the University of Northwestern Ohio. The Tigers competed on the road at UNOH and lost both matches with a men's final score of 8-1, and women's 6-3.

The men's and women's teams started out slow as they combined for only one doubles win. Parker Jones and Noah Swencki clinched the only doubles win with a score of 8-3.

The Tigers could not overcome the Racers' attack as they were swept during singles play.

Though the Lady Tigers started off shakey, they finished strong as they won three of the four singles sets.

The men's team (12-7) will finish its scheduled regular season on the road facing Grace College on Saturday, April 19, at 9 a.m. The match will be played at UNOH. CU is also looking to make up a match against Indiana University Southeast, which was canceled earlier in the semester due to rain.

The women finished regular season play with a 12-6 record.

Both teams will compete in the Mid-South Conference Tournament beginning on Thursday, April 24 in Georgetown, Ky. The women will be the No. 2 seed in the MSC Tournament and will play the seventh seed (TBD) at 9 a.m. at Scott County High School. The men will be the No. 5 seed and will play University of the Cumberlands at 2 p.m. at Georgetown College.
