HANOVER, Ind. – Campbellsville Lady Tiger cross country finished fifth of seven teams in its second meet of the season Saturday at the Madison Kiwanis Invite hosted by Hanover College.

Sarah Johnson and Abby Wicke finished in the Top 30 for CU. Johnson was 22^nd with a time of 21:48.3 and Wicke was 30^th in 22:29.5.

Mallory Vest (35, 22:44.7), Maggie Calvert (37^th, 22:57.4) and Shelby Courtney (38^th, 23:03.2) rounded out CU's Top 5, which combined for a time of 1:53:03.1.

Huntington University placed first in the team standings, led by Christien Sparks (19:54.9), while Mancheter's Mariah Jordan took first with a time of 19:41.2.

Brandi Thomas (40^th, 23:44.0) and Jennifer Hatley (43^rd, 25:18.0) also competed for the Lady Tigers

Campbellsville will take a week off but will return to action Sept. 20 in the Berea Invitational in Berea, Ky.
