CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — The grand opening for the Campbellsville wrestling facility came in style today, as Tiger wrestling went 5-0 and knocked off NAIA Top 10 opponents Indiana Tech and Life University. 

No. 7 Campbellsville went undefeated in their home-opener as they beat No. 3 Indiana Tech (22-14), No. 10 Life University (19-18), Brewton-Parker (38-4), St. Andrews (37-7) and Truett-McConnell (52-0).

"Today was a great starting point for this team," said coach Franky James.  "We are off to a good start and we learned a lot about this team today.

"They work well together and worked hard the last two weeks with a lot of improvement. We will keep improving and build on what we accomplished today."

The Tigers were led by fifth-ranked Chuck Sharon (184) and ninth-ranked Kyle Terry (157), as they went undefeated in the three duals they wrestled.  

Terrell Moore's 9-2 upset over No. 11 Tracy Jewett of Life University was a major deciding factor for the Tigers. Before the 285 weight class the tenth-ranked Running Eagles led the dual 18-16. Moore defeated Jewett for three team points to propel the Tigers, 19-18.

The Tigers will travel to Raleigh, N.C. for the Wolfpack duals and the N.C. State Wolfpack Open Tournament next weekend, Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 21 and 22.
