HOUGHTON, N.Y. —
Adam Sandidge and
Brett Pierce finished top seven to be named All-Americans and led Campbellsville men's cross country to a fourth place finish at the National Christian College Athletic Association National Championship.
Sandidge shattered the all-time record in the 8K race which was previous set by Mark Rowe in 2001 with a time of 25:43. Sandidge beat that mark by 23 seconds, finishing in fourth place with a time of 25:20.3 to now sit atop the Tiger record book.
Pierce joined Sandidge with NCCAA All-American honors and also surpassed Rowe's time. He finished with an 8K time of 25:30 to now sit at No. 2.
In addition to the record setting times, Campbellsville's
Bret Crawford finished 17
th – just missing All-American status – with a new PR of 25:52.6. Also,
Joey Hartlage recorded a new PR crossing the finish line at 26:46.6 to place in 36
th.

Cedarville won the men's race with an average time of 25:44 to claim the NCCAA National Title. Roberts Wesleyan finished second (25:51), Dallas Baptist finished third (26:01), Campbellsville was fourth (26:08), and Oklahoma Baptist rounded out the Top 5 (26:27). For complete results, click

The Lady Tigers finished 14
th with an average 5K time of 21:13.
Maggie Calvert who ran her final race for Campbellsville, finished the only way she knew how. The senior from Scottsville, Ky. ran her season-best to lead Campbellsville with a 19:54 time to place 40
th.
Freshman
Julianna Bradley finished 70
th with a time of 21 minutes flat. Senior
Mallory Vest, also running her final race, finished 75
th with a time of 21:07 and
Brandi Thomas ran a lifetime best of 21:30 in the 5K to place 88
th.
Campbellsville was rounded out with a 117
th place finish from
Abby Wicke, crossing the finish line at 22:35.1.
Cedarville also claimed the women's title as well, finishing with an average time of 18:23. Oklahoma Baptist finished second (18:23), Dallas Baptist placed was third (18:31), Colorado Christian was fourth (19:18), and Trinity Christian rounded out the Top 5 with an average 5K of 19:37. The Tigers will now have one week to prepare before traveling to Charlotte, N.C. for the NAIA National Championship. Campbellsville picked up the Mid-South Conference's automatic bid by winning the conference championship last weekend. CU is the lone MSC team in the field.
