Raleigh, N.C. — Campbellsville men's wrestling competed in the North Carolina State University Wolfpack Duals on Saturday, Nov. 21, winning two of the three duals against NCAA Division I and II opponents, UNC Pembroke, Anderson University and NC State.
The NAIA sixth-ranked Tigers wrestled at the Cary Academy High School, defeating UNC Pembroke 23-15, and Anderson 32-19. Campbellsville fell to NC State 37-3.
Third ranked Christian Clary was the lone Tiger to go undefeated yesterday. In the 125 lb. weight class, he won by major decision over UNC Pembroke's Josh Brown (8-0) and NC State's McKinnon Bowen (8-4). Clary pinned Kyle Linder from Anderson in 3:11.
Campbellsville wrestled today, Sunday, Nov. 22, in the NC State Wolfpack Open Tournament in Raleigh, N.C. Results will be posted as soon as they become available.
The Tigers stay on the road and head to the Ohio Northern Invitational in Ada, Ohio on Saturday, Dec. 5.
