Box Score 2 PORTSMOUTH, Ohio — Campbellsville swept Shawnee again today, 10-1 and 1-0, to win nine of its last 10 and hold on to first place in the Mid-South Conference with a 9-1 record.

The Lady Tigers, after trailing 1-0 in the first game, scored 10 unanswered runs — highlighted by the three-hit, five-RBI performance of freshman designated player Rebecca Miller.
Miller is tied with Kristin Benton for the team lead in hits with 16.
Victoria Decker (10-2) gave up a first-inning score when Hanna Ditto plated Kelsey Jenkins during a three-hit frame. But Decker would settle down and allow only two hits the rest of the way. She struck out seven and walked two.
Haley Szpila and Erin Benton had two hits each. Brianna Scott delivered two RBIs with her one hit. Szpila, Scott and Erin Benton all collected doubles in game one.
In game two, freshman Neely Quint pitched a five-hit shutout, using Jacqueline Roof's fifth-inning single for the 1-0 win and run her record to 8-3. She had three strikeouts and walked one.
CU managed only five hits off Shawnee's Alex Bowers, who also pitched a five hitter.
Roof had a two-hit game and Kristin Benton, Adrean Jordan and Shelby Ray had one each.
The Lady Tigers (18-5, 9-1 MSC) will play Cumberland University in a double header on Tuesday, March 31 with the first pitch set to begin at 2 ET. The game will be broadcasted live on the Cumberland University Sports Network - www.portal.stretchinternet.com/cu
