Box Score BOWLING GREEN, Ky. — (BOX SCORE) Campbellsville blanked University of the Cumberlands in the Lady Tigers first elimination game of the Mid-South Conference Tournament, winning 4-0.

Campbellsville (33-7) defeated the Patriots to move on to tonight's elimination game against rival Georgetown College at 7 p.m. ET/ 6 p.m. local time.
Starting pitcher Neely Quint (16-4) allowed only three hits for her team-leading 18th complete game of the season. The freshman from Brockport, Ill. rolled through the first three innings without allowing a hit. She finished allowing three singles and one walk, but struck out four Patriots.
Campbellsville scored all its runs in the fourth inning. Jacqueline Roof and Brianna Scott led the inning off with singles then Kristin Benton hit a missile to the right-center field fence for a bases clearing triple. Benton ended up coming around to score on the play after an error on the throw to third by second baseman, Elisa Mauldin.
Markie Smith then followed with a walk and was replaced by Kennedy Shutter. Shutter advanced all the way to third base on a sacrifice bunt by Hailey Szpila and then scored on a ground ball by Erin Benton.
Campbellsville was unable to score in the later innings but that was all the runs Quint would need. UC broke up the no-hit bid in the fourth inning with a bunt single by Kaylee James but the Patriots could not get anything going.
Scott led Campbellsville with two hits, a single and double. Roof, K. Benton, and Rebecca Miller added the other singles for Campbellsville.
The Lady Tigers will roll out the Mid-South Conference Pitcher of the Year, Victoria Decker for the nightcap with Georgetown. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET but may be delayed. You can listen to the game live on the CU Sports Network – HERE.
