The sixth-ranked Tigers (10-4, 1-1 MSC) boasted nine individuals ranked in the top 16 of their weight classes but it wasn't enough to overcome the late rally of the ninth-ranked Blue Raiders (8-5, 1-0 MSC).

Campbellsville started on a slow foot, dropping the first and second duals, the second being a forfeit.

CU then went on a winning spree, tallying 18 straight points over five individual duals. Jaedin Sklapsky (141) started the change of pace with an 8-3 decision followed by two more decisions from Andrew Hoskins (149) and No. 5 Kyle Terry (157).

Sean Black (165) had the first and only fall of the night (0:50) adding six points to the winning column, 15-9.  Justin Brown (174) was the last of Campbellsville's wrestler, winning by sudden victory.

LWC went on to win the next three matches to give the Blue Raiders a one-point edge over Campbellsville.

The Tigers will stay on the road and travel to Cumberland University Friday, Jan. 29. Wrestlers hit the mat at 6 p.m. ET.
