WILMORE, Ky. – Asbury University's double dual with the Tigers and Bethel Wildcats presented multiple NAIA cuts and team records for Campbellsville's men.
Chris Telman led the Tigers by claiming a first-place finish in the 1650-yard freestyle with a time of 18:08.88. He also completed the 100 free in 51.95 to place second.
RJ Harris was fourth with a time of 53.54.
Telman and Harris joined freshmen Tanguy Claisse and
Isaac Lewis for the 200-yard medley to earn a school record and an NAIA "A" standard with a time of 1:48.47. The NAIA standard is 1:50.71.
Other freshmen showing out for the Tigers were Claisse in the 100-yard backstroke, finishing 2
nd in 1:01.89, and
Seth Jones in the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:08.54.
The Tigers rounded out the meet with a second team record in the 800-yard freestyle relay with a time of 8:00.88.
Tucker Hardin teamed with Telman, Claisse and Lewis to place second.

Casey Smith expressed her pride in how her team performed, saying: "The team worked very hard during the meet and I am thrilled with the results!"
The Tiger swim team returns home Saturday, Nov. 5 to host Lindsey Wilson and Union College in Powell Athletic Center starting at 11 a.m.
