LAURINBURG, N.C. —
Justin Brown knocked off Newberry's two-time All-American, Huston Evans, Saturday to seal that dual and help his Tiger teammates to a 3-0 start this past weekend at the St. Andrews University Duals.

The Tigers defeated Newberry 22-15, winning five of the nine duals, and then went on to register wins over St. Andrews (34-6) and Southeastern (28-11).
Adrian Camposano (125 lbs.) and
Chuck Sharon ((184 lbs.) won all three of their matches.
Camposano won by forfeit against Newberry and St. Andrews before scoring an 11-9 decision over Southeastern's Olson Delisca. Sharon defeated Chad Wood (Newberry 10-0), Mitch Jacobs (St. Andrews 11-0) and Zechariah Rives (Southeastern fall).

Evan Decker (197), 10-2 over Jared Key, St. Andrews, and 9-4 over Aris Knight, Southeastern;
Terrell Moore (285), 4-3 over Cedric Young, St. Andrews, and Silas Root 5-3 over Silas Root, Southeastern;
Michael Beets (125), 15-5 over Zac Branning, Southeastern;
Jayce Carr (141), 9-7 over Calib Rudsill, Southeastern; LJ Henderson (174), 6-0 over Brian Torres, Southeastern.
The Tigers host the Campbellsville Duals Saturday, Nov. 19 when University of the Cumberlands, Indiana Tech, Brewton-Parker, Bellarmine, Truett-McConnell, Newberry, and Belmont Abby come to town.
