TOPEKA, Kan. — Five Tigers wrestled their way into All-American status, while Davion Caston is looking to make history and repeat as an NAIA National Champion tonight in the 59th Annual Men's Wrestling Championship at the Topeka Expocentre.
After receiving a bye in round one, No. 3 Caston has won three straight matches against tough opponents to move into tonight's 133-pound championship bout.
In today's semifinals match, Caston knocked off Grand View's No. 2 Godwin Cutler with a 4-3 decision. Caston will face off with another Grand View grappler - No. 1 Jacob Colon – who is also 3-0 throughout the tournament.

Campbellsville also had two others wrestle in the semifinals. At 149 pounds, Jaedin Sklapsky lost to No. 2 Tyler Cowger from Southern Oregon, while Kyle Terry was defeated by four-time All-American Colby Crank from Baker at 157 pounds.
In the consolation brackets, Terry won by major decision over Victor Thomas to move into a rematch with No. 1 Tanner Werner from Grand View. Werner got the best of Terry this time with an 11-9 loss to finish in the fourth place.
Skalpsky was looking to rally through the consolation bracket but was pinned by William Fox from York College in 1:56. In the fifth place match, Skalpsky had to forfeit due to injury giving fifth to Mid-South Conference foe Dallas Brown from Life University. Skalpsky finished sixth.
No. 6 Sean Black (165) and No. 12 Chuck Sharon (174) were also still alive in the consolations.
Black knocked off Trevor Devestern (Dakota Wesleyan) to win three-straight matches. Wrestling for a chance to move into the consolation finals, Black fell to Ricky McCarty (Oklahoma City) to be placed in the fifth place match. Black lost to Connor Middleton (Baker) 3-2 and also placed sixth.
Sharon – who won three consolation matches yesterday – lost via a 2-0 decision to Zach Fishman from Northwestern to move into the seventh place match with Derek Sivertsen from Oklahoma City University. Sharon fell 6-3 and finished in eighth place.
