CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Postseason action for the Campbellsville men's soccer team begins against University of Pikeville in the quarterfinals of the Mid-South Conference Championship at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday night at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, Ky.
The Tigers – who are 12-2-1 on the season – finished tied for second place in the Mid-South Conference standings and is the No. 2 seed in the Mid-South Conference Championship after winning the tiebreaker over Cumberland University.
Campbellsville ranks fifth in the NAIA with nine shutouts this season, where defender
Daniel Nimmo anchored the Tiger defensive core and was named the MSC Co-Player of the Year on Wednesday night at the conference's annual banquet. Nimmo was also won of 10 Tigers to earn all-conference honors with six players on the first team and four on the second team.

Ignacio Mangada has led the Campbellsville offense with 12 goals and 27 points.
Nathan Heath is second on the team with nine goals and 20 points, while
Yudai Yamauchi has racked up six goals and 16 points. Both Heath and Yamauchi joined Nimmo on the All-MSC First Team.

Thomas Edge were the final two Tigers selected to the first team, where Nota has started all 15 games in goal for Campbellsville making 51 saves and allowing just 13 goals.
Of Campbellsville 13 goals allowed this season, nine came within two games – a 5-4 loss to Bethel University and a 4-0 loss to Lindsey Wilson College.
Pikeville comes into the match with a record of 4-11-1 and have won it last two matches coming into the playoffs. The duo of Eric Bernabeu and Max Isenberg have led the Bears this season with a combined 12 goals. The Bears only have 17 goals this season, while Bernabeu and Isenberg – who have six goals apiece – are the only two players for Pikeville with more than one goal this season.
Anibal Navarro started in goal for 14 of the Bears 15 contests. Navarro leads the Mid-South with 73 saves, but he is sixth with a 2.96 goals against average.
Earlier this season, Campbellsville defeated Pikeville at home, 3-0. The victory from the Tigers sparked a four-match winning streak and three different players scored goal during the contest. Edge and
Scott Brooksbank scored their only goals of the season against the Bears and Mangada scored the final goal in the match for his eighth of 12 goals this season.
Campbellsville has third game of the day on Thursday with the opening kick between the Tigers and Bears set for 6 p.m. ET.
The remaining three quarterfinals feature: No. 1-seeded Lindsey Wilson facing No. 8-seeded Shawnee State University at 10:30 a.m. ET, followed by No. 4-seeded University of the Cumberlands taking on No. 5-seeded Life University at 1 p.m. ET and the first day concludes with No. 3-seeded Cumberland battling No. 6-seeded Georgetown College at 8:30 p.m. ET.
The winner of Campbellsville-Pikeville takes on the winner of Cumberland-Georgetown next Thursday, Nov. 9 at 1 p.m. ET.
All seven matches in the conference tournament are set to be played at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, Ky.
