BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Campbellsville placed four individuals on the All Mid-South Conference Second Team, the conference announced at its annual banquet on Thursday night at Mariah's in Bowling Green, Ky.
Rachel Blumfeldt,
Amanda Howard,
Jordan Stallings and
Lakin Walls all earned second team selections.
Howard earns all-conference honors for the fourth-straight season and she picked up second team accolades for the first time since 2014. Blumfeldt, Stallings and Walls all earn their first all-conference recognition.
During the season, Blumfeldt led the Lady Tigers with 10 goals and 21 points, which are sixth and ninth in the conference, respectively.
Howard is second in the conference with 93 saves this season and she averaged 5.47 saves per game. The senior started in all 17 regular-season games and recorded three shutouts, while helping Campbellsville to five shutouts.
Stallings converted on the Lady Tigers only penalty kick chance of the season for her lone goal of the season. She anchored the Campbellsville backline that recorded five clean sheets this season.
Walls finished tied for third on the team with three goals. She is second on the team with three assists and fourth in points with nine.
Cumberland University's Rebecca Holloway was named the MSC Player of the Year and head coach of the Phoenix Brian Davies was voted as MSC Coach of the Year. University of the Cumberlands' Sara Randez is the MSC Freshman of the Year and Jodi DeJohn won the MSC Champions of Character award.
Along with its all-conference honors, the conference recognized is players of the week and academic honorees – which were released earlier on Thursday.
Campbellsville begins its postseason run at 1 p.m. ET on Friday afternoon as the fourth seed in the conference tournament and faces fifth-seeded Cumberlands.
The first quarterfinal features top-seeded Cumberland taking on eight-seeded University of Pikeville at 10:30 a.m. ET. Second-seeded Lindsey Wilson College takes on seventh-seeded Life University at 3:30 p.m. ET, followed by third-seeded Georgetown College against sixth-seeded Shawnee State University at 5:30 p.m. ET.
All seven matches of the Mid-South Conference Championship are set to take place at Warren Central High School in Bowling Green, Ky.
