COLUMBIA, Ky. – With five Mid-South Conference contests remaining on the schedule, Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball hit the road Thursday night for a pair of rivalry matchups with Lindsey Wilson College.
The doubleheader starts at 7 p.m. ET with the Lady Tigers tipping first. The men's game is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET.
Both game will be aired on the Campbellsville University Sports Network, as
Jay Turner and
Matt Payton will have the radio call started at 6:45 p.m. Fans can also watch live video via Lindsey Wilson's Stretch Internet portal at the link above.
#8 Lady Tigers (20-3, 5-2 MSC) vs. #4 Lindsey Wilson (22-0, 8-0 MSC)
Now that its non-conference schedule is complete, eighth-ranked Lady Tiger basketball has its sights set on making a run in the final five Mid-South Conference games. Three games behind Lindsey Wilson in the MSC standings, the Lady Tigers have four of their final five games against ranked foes.
The Blue Raiders enter with a perfect 22-0 record – one of just three teams on the women's side to still have an unblemished record. Campbellsville and Lindsey Wilson both are one of two of six teams in the NAIA with 20-plus wins. The 20-win season is also the ninth in
Ginger Colvin's 10-year tenure as head coach.
Campbellsville is coming off three-straight wins and has won 12 of its last 13 games. In the last win, a 90-67 victory over Wilberforce University on Jan. 28,
Emily Fox become the 21
st Lady Tiger to score 1,000 points in her career with 10 points vs. the Bulldogs.

Boasting a 2-5 Mid-South Conference record, Campbellsville men's basketball is looking
to regroup for the home-stretch of the 2017 schedule. It all starts tonight vs. Lindsey Wilson, as the Tigers are looking to upset the Blue Raiders, who have been receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 polls the previous month. CU is still seeking its first true road win of the season, as the Tigers are 0-5, but CU already has one win under its belt vs. LWC this year, 64-58 on Dec. 3. But in that matchup, LWC was without Dmitry Utolin and Bryan Wallace was held to just four points in 23 minutes of play. Also, the Tigers are looking to avenge a blow- out loss last season to the Blue Raiders in the Biggers Sports Center, 102-76.
Campbellsville is coming in with two-straight non-conference victories over Wilberforce (76-70) and Maine Fort-Kent (90-62) but has won just three of its last seven games.
Erik Kinney and
Hagen Tyler lead the Tigers, as Kinney recorded his sixth double-double (fourth-straight) in the win over Fort-Kent. Tyler, who struggled since an illness in the middle of November, has found his groove and hit 8-of-16 from behind the 3-point in the last two games.

• Campbellsville University and Lindsey Wilson meet tonight for the 69th time in program history with CU owning a 38-30 edge over the Blue Raiders.
• The first game between CU and LWC was played Jan. 26, 1987. The Tigers won 66-58.
