Three-game road stretch for Men’s Basketball concludes on Thursday at No. 10 Georgetown

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Campbellsville's three-game road trip comes to an end on Thursday night against 10th-ranked Georgetown College at 8 p.m. ET inside the Davis-Reid Alumni Gymnasium.
 
Campbellsville is currently on a three-game winning streak picking up wins over Shawnee State University, then No. 2-ranked Lindsey Wilson College and Cumberland University. With the three wins, Campbellsville has pulled within two games of the top spot in the Mid-South Conference standings.

In the last game for Campbellsville it earned an 87-77 road win over Cumberland. Campbellsville used a 41-21 rebounding edge over the Phoenix including 19 rebounds on the offensive end to lead it to the road win. The duo of Tim Coleman and Andrew Smith led the way for Campbellsville against Cumberland, scoring 21 and 20 points, respectively. Smith was a rebound shy of a double-double with a game-best nine rebounds.
 
Coleman has been the catalyst for Campbellsville on offense this season with 14.6 points per game and Smith is just behind with 13.6 points a game. After averaging 18.5 points and nine rebounds last week, Smith was selected as the Mid-South Conference Player of the Week for the third time this season.
 
As a team, Campbellsville ranks third in the nation with a 1.5 assists-to-turnover ratio, while ranking fifth in blocks (105) and three-pointers (225). Smith ranks seventh in the NAIA and leads Campbellsville with 37 blocks, while Coleman's 60 three-pointers this year are 13th in the country.
 
Georgetown enters Thursday night's matchup with a 19-3 mark and sits at 4-3 in the Mid-South after dropping a 76-74 home game against Lindsey Wilson last time out. Over the last three games, Georgetown is just 1-2 with its lone win coming at home against Cumberland last week.
 
Shadell Millinghaus leads the best offense in the nation with 23.4 points per game and Georgetown has scored an NAIA-best 2,213 points. Georgetown also leads the nation with a plus-27.9 scoring margin. Millinghaus is also the team's leading rebounder (8.7) and Trent Gilbert has made the second-most three-pointers in the nation with 73.
 
Campbellsville and Georgetown met earlier this season to kickoff the conference season, where Georgetown erased a nine-point deficit over the last five minutes of regulation to stay unbeaten with a 97-93 road win. Adam Stanford recorded a career-high 25 points for Campbellsville, but Georgetown ended the game on 13-2 run to secure the victory. In the all-time series, Georgetown leads 95-32 and it holds a 43-15 advantage at home.
