Lady Tigers win 400 Freestyle Relay; Tiger set season-best mark at Asbury University dual

WILMORE, Ky. – Lady Tiger swimming won the 400 Freestyle Relay and the Tigers swam a season-best in the same event this past weekend in a dual at Asbury University.

Campbellsville's Faith Hyde, Lexie Upton, Anna Lewis and Mikayla Runner swam a 4:18.06 in the event to out-last Asbury's top relay by over three seconds.

On the men's side, RD Harris, Justin Spalding, Tucker Hardin and Isaiah Harris swam a 3:35.08 to mark their season best in the event. The biggest feat was this event was at the very end of the dual and the Tigers had already swam multiple events before recording this new season record.

In addition to the relays, Hyde finished in second place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:10.06, while Olivia Schneider finished second in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 6:27.65.

On the men's side, Spalding finished runner-up in the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:09.32, while also earning a third-place finish in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 54.80.

Overall, Asbury University won the team portion of the meet, 148-34 on the women's side and 145-33 on the men's.

Campbellsville now travels to Lindsey Wilson college on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET for a Mid-South Conference dual with the Blue Raiders.
