No. 14 Tiger wrestling gets dual season underway tonight at No. 17 Brewton-Parker

MOUNT VERNON, Ga. — The 2018-19 dual season gets underway tonight for No. 14 Campbellsville University men's wrestling as the Tigers travel to conference foe Brewton-Parker College on Thursday night.

The Tigers and 17^th-ranked Barons start tonight at 7 p.m. ET and fans can watch the dual opener via Brewton-Parker's video stream at the link above.

The Tigers start the season with seven wrestlers ranked inside the preseason individual rankings, which were released at the end of October. Three of those ranked grapplers are competing tonight.

Ashton Mutuwa is coming off a stellar opening weekend. He went 6-0 to lead the Tigers as he allowed only seven points in his six matches over the week and outscored his opponents 57-7 overall. The biggest win may have come in the quarterfinal round as Mutuwa picked up a 2-1 decision over No. 17 Maleek Caton from Williams Baptist.

The 17^th-ranked Barons are also starting dual competition this week and will also face University of the Cumberlands tonight. Brewton-Parker has two individuals ranked – No. 4 Nate Pristavec (165) and No. 7 Brooks Climmons (184).

Last season, Campbellsville defeated the Barons in a big way, 41-6, on Jan. 13, 2018.
