Tiger wrestling set to host St. Andrews for first Mid-South Conference dual on Friday

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — No. 15 Campbellsville men's wrestling opens its home schedule on Friday night as St. Andrews University comes to Tiger Town for a Mid-South Conference dual.

The Tigers and Knights get underway at 7 p.m. ET in the Wrestling Facility. Head Coach Franky James and company also announced CU would be recognizing the Taylor County Wrestling programs from youth, middle to high school wrestlers. Admission is free.

Fans can also tune in on the Campbellsville University Sports Network for coverage starting at 6:55 p.m. ET (link above).

Campbellsville boasts a 1-1 record going into Friday night as the Tigers defeated No. 17 Brewton-Parker College, 33-13, but lost the nest night to No. 18 Southeastern University, 27-12.

St. Andrews won its lone dual of the year thus far, as the Knights took down Bluefield College, 27-25.

Campbellsville and St. Andrews have squared off only four times in program history. Friday's night match will be the fifth dual as the Tigers boasts a 4-0 record.

CU and St. Andrews last met in 2016 when the Tigers won 34-6. Overall in the four meetings, Campbellsville has out-scored the Knights, 136-31.
