CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – For the second-straight week, CU men's wrestling will hit the road to compete in multiple duals in one day as they will compete in the Smoky Mountain Duals in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. this Sunday.
The Tigers will be wrestling in four duals on Sunday first against Lyon College followed by two Mid-South Conference opponents in Life University and Midway University then the final dual of the day against Bluefield College.
CU is coming off of last weekend's Indiana Tech Warrior Duals where they lost their duals against Indiana Tech and Marian University but finished up winning against Lourdes University. Junior
Ashton Mutuwa was the only Tiger to come out of Fort Wayne, Ind. without a defeat as the nationally ranked heavyweight went 3-0 on the day.
Lyon is 2-2 in their four duals this season with wins against Arkansas Baptist College (37-3) and Central Baptist College (42-6). Their losses came against University of the Ozarks (16-24) and Missouri Baptist University (24-30). The Fighting Scots are not ranked in the NAIA rankings and have no individuals ranked individually by weight class either.
Life is the No. 7 ranked team in the NAIA in the latest coaches' poll, as they are 2-1 in duals so far this season. The Running Eagles have wins against Truett-McConnell University (34-10) and Brewton Parker College (27-18) with their loss coming against Reinhardt (18-26).

Midway has not competed in any duals yet this season as they've competed in four open meets in the Patriot Open, King Open, Findlay Open and the Indiana Little States Invite so far this season. The Eagles are not ranked in the team NAIA rankings and also have no ranked individuals, similarly to Lyon.
Bluefield is also not ranked with no ranked individuals so far this season as the Rams are have been very busy with duals so far in the 2018-19 season at a 2-7 record. Bluefield has beaten King's College (33-18) and West Virginia Tech (44-15) with their losses coming against St. Andrews (25-27), Penn Tech (21-29), Wilkes (0-51), Belmont Abbey (20-36), Southern Virginia (25-30) and Liberty (12-39).
The Smoky Mountain Duals will be the final meet for the Tigers in 2018 as they will head into a bit of a break to return to action on Jan. 3 at the NUWAY College Open.
