The Tigers come into the contest on Saturday night after earning a 97-71 victory over Cumberland University on Thursday night to move to 20-9 overall and 5-8 in the Mid-South Conference. The 26-point win from Campbellsville is its largest Mid-South Conference victory under head coach Brent Vernon.

Five Tigers scored in double figures on Thursday night with Coates leading the way with 21 points. Coates also set a new career high with six steals and had recorded seven assists, where both were more than the entire Phoenix lineup.

Andrew Smith notched his sixth double-double of the season after scoring 20 points and tying his career high with 15 rebounds. Smith was also the only player in the game to reach double-digit rebounds. Hagen Tyler just missed out on joining the 20-point club on Thursday night after he chipped in with 19 points. Jacob King tied his career high with 13 points and Stanford rounded out the quintet with 12 points.

On the season, Smith has paced the Tigers with 14.4 points per game and he also leads the way with eight rebounds a game. The junior ranks 11th in the nation with 44 blocks and is ranked in the top 25 of six different statistical categories. Tyler is just behind Smith with 13 points a game and Coates is knocking on the door of double figures with 9.5 points per game.

Lindsey Wilson has struggled over its last 10 games, winning just three times after starting the season at 18-0, which was the best start in the NAIA this season. However, since the turn in to conference play, Lindsey Wilson has won just six times with three coming in the first three games. The Blue Raiders enter Saturday's matchup on a three-game skid.

Bryan Wallace paces Lindsey Wilson with 18.8 points per game, while also leading the NAIA in steals with 88. Five Blue Raiders are averaging double figures during the year and Nic Brown is nearly averaging a double-double in his 20 appearances with 10.5 points and 9.3 rebounds. Hannes Erhardt came up big in the first meeting between the two teams with 14 points and 18 of the Blue Raiders' 39 rebounds.

The first meeting featured Campbellsville picking up a narrow 67-65 win on the road over Lindsey Wilson, which was the Tigers first road win in Columbia, Ky., since 2014. In the all-time series, Campbellsville leads 38-29, while also holding a 22-12 advantage over the Blue Raiders in games played at the Powell Athletic Center.

Conference tournament seeding is on the line Saturday afternoon as Campbellsville can tie Lindsey Wilson in the MSC with a victory and the Tigers would hold the tiebreaker with a win to earn the No. 5 seed in the MSC Tournament next week.

Opening tip on Saturday afternoon is set for 4 p.m. ET with Senior Day festivities just before tipoff inside the Powell Athletic Center.
