Sabrojo and Spalding named Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Tiger duo of Adrian Sabrojo and Alex Spalding were named as Daktronics-NAIA Men's Tennis Scholar-Athletes, the national office announced on Friday morning.
 
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have attended the institution for two full years as a non-transfer or one full year as a transfer.
 
Both Sabrojo and Spalding earn the award for the second-straight season after earning the award for the first time last season. This is also the second season in a row that the Tigers have two individuals earn the award.
 
A total of 116 men's tennis student-athletes garnered the award with Hastings College leading all institutions with six honorees.
 
Campbellsville is currently taking part in the NAIA Men's Tennis National Championship Quarterfinals against Keiser University in Mobile, Alabama.
