Hall's nifty passing leads No. 7 Lady Tigers in 90-51 rout over Cumberland Phoenix

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. — Caitlin Hall put on a show with no-look passing and she had ample scoring support as Jordan Doram had 18 points in Campbellsville's big win, 90-51, over Cumberland University.

The Lady Tigers were led in scoring by Doram's 18 points on 8-of-11 shooting and 2-of-2 from the charity stripe. Madison Kaiser was 8-of-12 from the floor and finished with 17 points, while Madison Faulkner reached her average of 13 and Savannah Gregory and Lexy Lake both had 11.

Campbellsville (16-2, 2-0 MSC) finished the night with 29 assists and Hall dished out 13 of them – most in transition – as CU scored 52 points in the paint and averaged only 14 seconds per possession. The 13 dimes match Hall's career-high set against Martin Methodist earlier this year.

It was also the 11th-straight win over Cumberland in the series.

Once again, the Lady Tigers used a big second quarter and doubled Cumberland (4-10, 0-2 MSC) at halftime, 48-24. The rout started early though – actually 11 seconds into the game as Gregory picked up the first of her five steals and Kaiser finished with her first two points.

Campbellsville jumped out to an 8-0 lead early and that blossomed to 40-18 after back-to-back nifty no-look dimes by Hall. Lexy Lake hit her first 3 at the 1:25 mark and buried another with 10 seconds left on the clock to give the Lady Tigers their big lead.

The second half started exactly the same. Cumberland scored the first two points but then Campbellsville rallied off eight straight to force another Phoenix timeout. Senior Madison Stewart got in on the 3-point party and hit a triple with 1:00 left in the third quarter and Campbellsville led 70-38 with 10 minutes to go.

The depth played a major role once again with 39 bench points and all 13 Lady Tigers dressed played over seven minutes. In addition to Faulkner, Ashlee McGeorge came off the bench to score six points and grab five rebounds. Alexus Calhoun also had five points and two boards.

With the win, Campbellsville will now put its perfect conference record up against Lindsey Wilson in the Battle of Highway 55 on Saturday. Tipoff between the two rivals is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET in the Powell Athletic Center. The contest will also mark Ginger High Colvin's 400thgame as head coach.
