Lady Tigers return to action on Wednesday after 11 days off

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – After an 11-day layoff, the 24thranked Lady Tigers will be back in action on Wednesday as they travel to the University of the Cumberlands for a 5 p.m. ET kickoff.
 
LAST TIME OUT
  • In their last game, the Lady Tigers defeated Shawnee State for the ninth consecutive win in the 2019.
  • The 5-0 win was led by Lakin Walls who was able to record CU's first two goal, giving them an early lead.
  • Following Walls' pair, Milena Derougeur, Sangmin Cha, and Jessie Bryson all helped add the Campbellsville's total to pick up the win.
  • The Lady Tigers were able to outshoot the Bears 31-1, putting 16 on goal to SSU's 0, adding to their current win streak.
 
SCOUTING THE PATRIOTS
  • Heading into Wednesday's meeting the Patriots have had success with an 8-1-1 overall record, in the midst of a four-game win streak.
  • After their lone loss has come to the Marian University, who is currently 15thin the country, the Patriots sit in the receiving votes category of the poll.
  • Their last mitch came on Saturday as UC defeated Thomas More 3-0.
  • On the season, the Patriots have outscored opponents 28-4, recording assists on 26 of their 28 goals.
  • Naira Lopez has led the team scoring six of the team's goals.
  • Nicole Panis has been the main goalkeeper for UC recording 32 saves and only three goals allowed.
 
HISTORY AGAINST THE PATRIOTS
  • Since 2005, Campbellsville holds a 9-5-1 record against the University of the Cumberlands.
  • They last met on October 20thof 2018, where the Lady Tigers fell 5-2.
  • In the meeting, the Lady Tigers goals came at the feet of Molly Hall and Lakin Walls, but they weren't enough to overcome UC.

  • Individually, Katelyn Young sits ninth in the NAIA rankings in goals against per game with 0.46.
  • Lady Tiger freshman, Jessie Bryson also leads Campbellsville off the bench with eight goals, tallying one per game. This mark is also enough to lead scorers in the Mid-South Conference.
 
LOOK INTO THE MSC
  • Campbellsville and the University of the Cumberlands currently ranked third in the Mid-South Conference standings as both are 2-0 inside conference play.
  • Cumberland University and Lindsey Wilson College both boast 4-0 records in conference matches to sit at the top of the standings.
 
Campbellsville will remain on the road following Wednesday's match as they will travel to Life University for a 6 p.m. ET match on Saturday, October 19th.
