CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – Lady Tigers seek to rally back as the visit the Tigers of Georgetown College on Saturday for a 6 p.m. ET tilt.
LAST TIME OUT
- On Wednesday's meeting with Thomas More, the Lady Tigers dropped a double overtime nail biter, 2-1.
- Campbellsville fell behind early as Ryann Meddings capitalized on a 13thminute PK following a foul in the box.
- CU was unable to generate steady offensive production, only managing to put up five shots throughout the first half of play.
- The Lady Tigers were able to get on the board, however, as Sarah Johnston recorded her first career goal cross from Lakin Walls.
- This 1-1 draw held until the 108thminute when Ryann Meddings was once again able to exploit a Lady Tiger foul, finishing the game with a golden goal on a free kick.
SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
- In fifteen games this season, the Tigers hold a record of 7-8 being 3-3 in the Mid-South Conference.
- GC is in the midst of a three-game win streak after shutting out Life, Shawnee State, and Pikeville in their last three matches.
- Libby Miller has been able to be much of the offense for Georgetown as she leads the team with 11 goals on 34 shots on goal.
- Miller has helped lead Georgetown to a 16thoverall ranking in shots on goal per game, averaging 11.53 as a team.
- Megan Martin has been the main keeper for GC, recording 80 saves, averaging 5.71 per game.
HISTORY VS THE TIGERS
- In 17 meetings since 2005, Campbellsville holds a record of 6-9-2 with Georgetown.
- Their last meeting came on Oct. 24 of last season as CU took down GC 4-1.
- In this match, CU outshot the Tigers 22-7 and were able to capitalize on a pair of goals from Lakin Walls, as well as goals from Molly Hall and Emma Nilsson.
AROUND THE MID-SOUTH CONFERENCE
- Campbellsville enters Saturday's game with a 3-2 record in conference play, which seats them at fourth in the MSC standings.
- Georgetown holds a 3-3 record and are sixth in the standings.
- Lindsey Wilson and the University of the Cumberlands are both still undefeated in the conference to sit atop the board.
- Jessie Bryson, the CU goal leader, also leads the MSC in total goals with 10 on the season.
