CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – With their last match coming seven days ago, CU men's volleyball is itching to get back to live action as they host Mid-South Conference foe Cincinnati Christian Wednesday night at Gosser Gymnasium.
 
Wednesday's match will be the second meeting between the Tigers and the Eagles as CCU traveled to Campbellsville earlier in the schedule for the Campbellsville University Invitational. The Tigers took the match in a 3-0 sweep as the sets went 25-13, 25-16, and 25-19.
 
In that match, head coach Eric Snyder mixed and matched his lineup a bit as setter Jeremy Hernandez only played in one set, moving Jason Camacho to set for the final two games. Jose Viera Cerame led the Tigers in kills with 11 on the match followed by nine from Derek Roby.
 
CU's most recent math against Midway University was a similar 3-0 victory where the Tigers cruised through the three sets 25-11, 25-12, and 25-15. More lineup mixing saw regular libero Joudiel Poveymirow play full rotation and lead Campbellsville with 10 kills.
 
The Eagles are sitting at a 0-9 record at the time this preview was written with their most recent match being on Tuesday night against Midway. In that Feb. 2 match, CCU was led on the attack by Michael Hiroskey who tied the game-high with 11 kills.
 
After this home game for the Tigers, they will hit the road again for three-straight matches away from Gosser Gymnasium. On Saturday, they will travel to Bluefield, Va. to take on Bluefield College then they will play two on the road next week at Cumberland University and at Thomas More College.
