CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. - After a string of tough Mid-South Conference bouts, the Tigers will now travel to Crestview Hills, Ky. to matchup with the Thomas More Saints in their inagural year as a part of the NAIA and MSC.
After struggling to open Mid-South play, the Saints have won two of last three ballgames as they sit just one game back of CU entering play on Saturday. Marking the halfway mark in conference action, Campbellsville and Thomas More will be fighting for position in the highly touted MSC.

SERIES FACTS
- As Thomas More is a newcomer to the Mid-South Conference, Saturday afternoon's tilt is the first between the programs since 1991.
- In the last bout, the teams put on an offensive showcase as Campbellsville finished as a 17-point favorite, topping the Saints 140-123.
- The teams have met 24 times prior to this game, as CU holds a record of 15-9, but have only gone 3-5 when visiting the Saints.
SCOUTING THE SAINTS
- Thomas More entered the NAIA rolling, winning each of their first eight and 13 of their first 14 ballgames.
- This hot start bounced them into the NAIA Coaches' Top 25 Poll, but they quickly fell out of the rankings after posting three straight conference losses.
- Nonetheless, the Saints have proven competitive in conference play after overtaking Cumberland University and Life last week.
- As a team, the Saints prove to be effective on the glass rnraking fourth in the NAIA in defensive rebounds per game, pulling them down at a clip of 28.83.
- In their defensive efforts, Thomas More has been able to limit their opponents to just 64.7 points per contest, ranking them fifth in the country.
- On the other side of the basketball, the Saints have proven to be an extremely efficient ball team, ranking ninth in point 3-pt fg% (0.398) and fg% (0.506).
- Luke Rudy has led the charge from behind arc, as his 55 made 3-pt field goals rank him 14th in the NAIA's rankings.
- Leading scorer and rebounder Reid Jolly has also helped this effort as his 15.69 ppg have come on shooting 57.6% from the field, ranking him 18th in the country.
DAVIS FROM DEEP
- After slight struggles from behind the arc to start the season, Alston Davis has began to develop into the Tigers' most consistent presence from behind the arc.
- Shooting just 26-75 from three in the first 16 games of the year for a 34.67% clip, AD has heated up in the Tigers' last four Mid-South Conference meetings.
- After exploding for four 3-pointers in the first half against Life, Davis has went 13-23 from deep in the last four games, shooting at a 56.5% clip.
DEFENSE SPARKS THE TIGERS
- Campbellsville has found their success when defense plays strong, as they are 13-5 when holding opponents to under 50% shooting and 12-2 when opponents shoot less than 35% from three.
- Allowing 68 ppg. on the season, CU currently ranks 16th in the NAIA.
- These defensive standards kept Campbellsville in the ballgame, when facing the country's top offense on Thursday.
- After entering the matchup averaging nearly 100 points per game, the Campbellsville defense held GC to a season low 66 points, allowing CU to battle and contend with the top team in the NAIA.
- Campbellsville also ranks 14th in the NAIA with 164 steals on the season, led by Mason's 42.
TIGER CLAWZ
- The Tigers have hit a 3-pointer in 539-straight games dating back to the beginning of the 2003-04 season on Dakstats.
