Kansas City, Mo – For the first time in program history the Lady Tigers are receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 poll.
The Lady Tigers find themselves sitting at 34
thin the polls while receiving 16 votes. Fellow MSC foe University of the Cumberlands find themselves sitting at number 23 in the top 25 polls. Taylor (Ind.) holds the top spot in the polls with 560 points
The team has only been able to compete in one race this fall at the Greater Louisville Classic. They ran the third best time in program history of 20:06. Senior
Gabrielle Velez jumped up the program rankings to the third best time in program history with her time of 19:16 tying Maggie Mattingly's time from 2010.
Freshman
Hailie LaMar also jumped into the top 10 fastest times with her performance of 19:44.00 which is tied for eighth along with
Miranda Rzendzian and Sara Branch.
The Lady Tigers have completed their fall slate of races and their next schedule race is the Mid-South Conference Championships in spring 2021.
