This game was originally scheduled for Jan. 16, but MSC officials moved the game to Saturday with the Tigers and Redhawks both having availability.
In the Tigers' 83-76 loss against Pikeville,
Taiveyhon Mason of the Tigers led all scorers with 26 points while also grabbing a game-high nine rebounds and freshman
Brayden Sebastian had the best offensive night of his early career, shooting 5-of-6 from the field and going 3-for-4 from three-point range for a career-high 16 points.

LAST TIME OUT
- In the Tiger's loss to Pikeville, neither team took a commanding lead at any time, with Pikeville holding the largest lead throughout the game at nine points in the second half and it was that second half that separated UPike from Campbellsville.
- The Bears improved their shooting percentage from 48.3 percent to 64.3 percent and their three-point shooting from 30.8 percent to 50.0 percent to score 46 points in the second period compared to 37 in the opening half.
- On the other end, CU's offensive efficiency from the first half to the second half only dipped slightly as they scored the exact same 38 points in both halves but couldn't break through to take a lead on Pikeville after the Tigers held a one-point advantage at halftime.
HOME COURT ADVANTAGE
- The Mid-South Conference has always been a tough league to win game in, but early on this season, a road win almost looks impossible as all MSC teams are a combined 36-5 in their home gyms this season.
- Of the five home losses, only two of them came in conference play with Lindsey Wilson dropping a game at home to Shawnee State and Cumberland University falling to Freed-Hardeman.
- Campbellsville's lone MSC home game came in an impressive 92-72 win over Bethel last Thursday as the Wildcats have yet to play a home game in conference play.
SCOUTING MARTIN METHODIST
- The Redhawks came into week atop the conference standings before dropping their road game to Shawnee State on Thursday 83-54 to move to 5-1 overall and 2-1 in the MSC so far.
- Guard Adarion Hudson is averaging 21.2 points per game for MMC through six games as he is also dishing out 5.8 assists per game as the primary ball handler.
LOOKING AHEAD
- The Tigers will have one game remaining before they hit Christmas break as they will hit the road again to face University of the Cumberlands next Tuesday in Williamsburg, Ky. at 7 p.m. ET.
