Tigers close out competition with multiple records on final day of NAIA Championships

Knoxville, Tenn. – The Tigers finished their 2019-20 season on Saturday as the NAIA Championships came to a close. 
 
In the morning session, RJ Harris and Tucker Hardin brought their careers to a close a part of the 400 freestyle relay team. The duo, along with Collin McGuire and Escobar were able to mark a new school record time of 3:17.31 to place 18th for the second alternate spot for finals.
 
Harris and McGuire also competed in individual events on the morning. Harris finished his individual career with the 100 freestyle, where he was able to swim a time of 50.19 seconds in the event.
 
McGuire, swimming the 200-butterfly was able to mark a 1:58.32 to place 27th and set a new team record.
 
Sebastian Escobar, coming off his All-American performance last night, swam in the evening session where he set a new team record in the 1650-meter freestyle. Escobar was able to swim a time of 16:26.48 to place 13thoverall.
 
This closes out the season for the Tigers and Coach Casey Bradstreet as she was so pleased with all of the accomplishments of her team this season.
