Outside hitter Damien Cole joins Tiger men’s volleyball for 2020-21 school year

CAMPBELLSVILLE, Ky. – The Campbellsville University men's volleyball team and head coach Eric Snyder announces a late addition to the signing class of 2020-21 as Damien Cole signs on to join the Tiger roster for this upcoming school year.
 
Cole is a native of Colorado Springs, Colo. where he attended James Irwin Charter High School. His primary positions are opposite and outside hitter as the 6-4 incoming freshman will join an already deep attacking unit for the Tigers.
 
According to Max Preps, in his four high school varsity seasons he recorded over 150 kills, over 75 digs, and over 35 aces in over 100 sets played between his freshman to senior seasons. After his junior year in 2019, Cole was nominated to the Boys' Volleyball All-State Team in Colorado.
 
While in high school, Cole also competed in basketball, baseball, track, cross country, and wrestling while being an honor roll student for all four years.
 
Damien is the son of Jeremy and Adelina Cole and plans to study exercise science while at Campbellsville.
 
Cole is the 11th signee for the 2020-21 class as he joins Elijah Miller, Ho Yin Leung, Logan Shafer, Isaac Paches, Jakob Kolk, Mason McKinney, Grant Howat, Andres Laboy, Gehrig Mickels and Brent Knight.
